Purriko is a home freshness brand based in the United Kingdom. We started with one simple goal: to give people a fridge that smells of nothing, without the monthly hassle of replacing boxes and bags that stop working.

We focus on one product, built to last up to 10 years, that breaks smells down instead of absorbing them.

Why We Started

Most people assume bad smell is just part of life.

They buy a box of bicarb, replace it every month, try a charcoal bag, try a bamboo one, try a rechargeable gadget, and end up back where they started. The smell returns, the cost adds up, and nobody tells them why it keeps happening.

We started Purriko because the problem was never the food, the fridge, or the person. It was the products. Absorbers fill up. When they’re full, they stop working. And the cycle starts again.

We wanted to offer something different: a product that drains the smell instead of storing it, so it never fills up and never needs replacing.

Our Story

Purriko began as a search for a better answer to a problem most people accept as inevitable.

Before bringing the product to the UK, we looked closely at how it actually works, what independent lab testing showed, and whether it could genuinely replace the monthly box of bicarb sitting in the back of someone’s fridge. We found that it could.

We launched in the UK because the problem is the same here, and the solution deserved to be available here too.
